And new Federal Aviation Administration rules bring us that much closer to the age of drones delivering packages The current laws concerning COMMERCIAL use of drones require their operators to have a PILOT_S LICENCE and apply on a case-by-case basis Under the new regulations taking effect in August commercial drones can be operated by a pilot over 16 years old who_s passed a written test.
